Overview
Brother DCP-J105 InkBenefit is a multi-function printer designed for home office or small business use. The printer can load up to 100 papers at a time, and print at the rate of 27/10 ppm (mono/colour) in Fast Mode; up to 11/6ppm (mono/colour) based on ISO/IEC 24734.The printer comes with four different cartridges BCMY; so you have the convenience of replacing the desired cartridge as per the ink level in it. The black cartridge can print up to 2400 pages while other three can print up to 1300 pages each. The “Ink Benefit” printer lets you save on ink cartridges, compared to other printers in the market.
DCP-J105 is WiFi enabled, making it convenient to print from multiple devices in your home or office without getting entangled in the cables. You can use the printer to print on papers of size A6 to A4, photo papers, different types of cards, postcards and even envelopes.
The digital display panel guides you through the printing/scanning/copying process. With multiple function keys on the front panel, you can have better control of all processes. In addition to the standard buttons to start, stop, scan, etc., there are keys that can set the copy quality, size (enlarge/minimize), and copy options.

Design
The compact design of Brother DCP-J105 InkBenefit is well suited for a small home office table. The cartridge trays are conveniently placed on the right hand side of the printer, making it easier to replace the ink. This is one of the advantages of DCP-J105 compared to many popular printers in the market. Removing and replacing the cartridges are simple and easier.
The standard paper tray lets you do the printing job without keeping
the paper visible. The output tray has minimum extension (8 cm) beyond
the printer body, which means you can manage the printing process almost
within the space allotted for the printer. By all these means, DCP-J105
occupies almost 1.5 feet on your table.Environment-friendly features

Performance
With its prime function as a 3-in-1 device for small offices, the printer is suitable for printing documents and images. (See Test-1) However, the printer may not be a good choice for printing professional high-resolution images. What we noticed was that even when all cartridges were 80 percent filled, the image quality (color) has not been excellent.However, the printer gives good quality clear images for text documents (See Test- 2) but while printing the same text in image form, you will be disappointed, however. (See Test-3)
While it takes a few seconds to start the printing process, DCP-J105 doesn’t give you a moment’s break once the process is on.
Scanning is not only faster but is also silent compared to many common small office printers. You can scan multiple pages adding one at a time, and at the end you can save them as a single document.
Copying using DCP-J105 produces excellent results in the case of documents, but average for images – both for color and b/w.Conclusion
Brother DCP-J105 InkBenefit makes a good office printer delivering all important functions – print, copy and scan – in a compact design. However, DCP-J105 is priced high compared to similar products with better or similar features, for example, HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 45 4515 All-in-One Wireless Printer, Canon Pixma MX457 All in One Printer and Canon IP7270 Single Function Inkjet Printer.FOR USEFULL LINKS....
